Job purpose


The role of the Graphic Designer / Production Artist position is to independently complete sign and graphics projects from estimate to completion of print ready artwork. This individual works directly with the client, sign production team and installation team to ensure that deadlines and client expectations are met.


Duties and responsibilities

 

  • Independently handle customer consults, sales, estimates, graphic design, and creating print ready artwork
  • Understand pricing and characteristics of products offered to be able to make the best recommendations based on customer needs
  • Ensure that timelines are met and projects are delivered to the standards promised to the customer
  • Use design time effectively to move projects through pipeline quickly and meet client's design budgets
  • Cross-sell and up-sell products and services
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Greet customers in a timely, professional and engaging manner
  • Bring a positive attitude to work everyday
  • Ensure the team as a whole is successful by being willing and able to help other team members with shop projects and duties

 

Qualifications

 

  • Proficient at adobe illustrator, photoshop experience is preferred but not required
  • Experience in sign or related industry is preferred but not required
  • Passion for graphic design/ arts
  • High School Diploma
  • Valid drivers license and auto insurance
  • Ability to positively and proactively handle customer concerns
  • Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of reliability, accountability and initiative
  • Willingness to work flexible hours

Hourly rate will be dependent on experience and caliber of projects completed during working interview.


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
